We’re really excited to be working with some amazing artists in 2018, with lots more gigs lined up and more. Check out our tips of acts to keep an eye on in 2018…

Snazzback

Another great band from Bristol that we are buzzing to be working with. Keep an eye out for a Jazz Plus Presents gig featuring Snazzback in March this year.

Skeltr

These boys really made their mark on EFG London Jazz festival, supporting KNOWER, and we’re looking forward to seeing more of them this year, especially when they feature at a Jazz Plus Presents gig in February.

Project Karnak

With some great gigs already under their belt in 2017, notably playing music from Head Hunters at London’s Jazz Cafe, they are coming to a Jazz Plus gig near you in April this year – stay tuned.

Pocket Dragon

Can’t get enough of these guys at the moment: we’re all over their series of Christmas jams on Facebook and also their new single, which is available here.

Yelfris Valdes

Yelfris Valdes is a really exciting trumpet player from Cuba, who’s played at Jazz Cafe with Robert Mitchell, in a Henry Wu curated night, and has performed on Moses Boyd’s Exodus Boiler Room. His debut album is on its way early this year, more info here.

China Bowls

Great sounds coming from China Bowls at the moment, we’ve loved her new track The Way – check out the video for it below.

Hippo

More amazing vibes coming out of Bristol. Keep your eyes out for an album from these guys, and listen out for a Jazz Plus Presents gig with the guys in May 2018.

Joshua Cavanagh-Brierley Group

A group of fantastic players playing some fantastic writing from Joshua Cavanagh-Brierley. Not long to go until their Jazz Plus Presents gig – tickets available here.

Resolution 88

We’re big fans, and we’re hoping for some new material in 2018, and to be working them soon – watch this space.

Joe Armon-Jones

Last but very much not least, here is a great talent fresh off the back of the success of Ezra Collective’s Juan Pablo: The Philosopher, on which he played keys, and also a superb album with Maxwell Owin.

We’ve got so much in store for 2018, with so many great artists – make sure you stay in the loop and get yourself down to hear some fresh live music!
