Jazz Plus Presents is back in 2018, showcasing Joshua Cavanagh-Brierley Group at Servant Jazz Quarters on Tuesday 6th February. Tickets available HERE.
We thought we’d introduce you to each member of an incredibly talented 9-strong band, so you can get even more excited for next week’s gig.
Aaron wood – trumpet
Only the sultriest, most melodic lines from the same trumpet player that set Glowrogues’ UK tour alight: catch Aaron Wood below playing ‘Oceanic’ (at 6 mins) with the Glowrogues boys last year, and playing with Artephis HERE.
Sam Healey – alto sax
Also a Glowrogues heavy, Sam Healey has been blasting into everyone’s consciousness playing with his own new outfit, Skeltr, who are in fact featuring at our next Jazz Plus Presents gig on 17th February.
Watch him on sax and buttons here:
Kyran Matthews – tenor sax
Here he is playing with the man of the moment, Joshua Cavanagh-Brierley, with Kyran’s own Wound trio. Performing Kyran’s own track ‘Contraband’ live at Wonder Inn in Manchester…

Anthony Brown – baritone sax
Big boy and party animal, Anthony Brown was another integral part of Glowrogues tour, and will be in spicy action again with Joshua Cavanagh-Brierley Group at Servant Jazz Quarters next Tuesday. Watch him on Glowrogues fresh new tune ‘Wayside’:
Sam Quinn – guitar
Danny Wellens – keys
Nifty Danny Wellens plays with his own forward thinking jazz trio, Spilt Milk – listen to them performing their track ‘Big Smoke’ here:
Alan Taylor – drums
Alan Taylor laying down some big grooves here live in Limerick. Follow him @alantaylormusic for more.
Craig Hanson – drums
Pulling no punches with Sam Healey as part of the duo, Skeltr, we’re keen to welcome back Craig even before he’s played this gig for our next one on 17th February, featuring Skeltr.
Get your ticket NOW to avoid paying more on the door. It’s a no brainer, right?
