Jazz Plus Productions are absolutely delighted to announce the release of Glowrogues’ first live album ‘live at jazz plus presents’ in Autumn 2017. Recorded live at their spellbinding recent jazz plus presents gig at Notting Hill Arts Club, this album is brimming with Glowrogues’ unique energy.
Glowrogues is a Manchester-based collective led by Jim Molyneux. Hip hop, funk and jazz is weaved into a tapestry that oozes heady ambient pop and tight horn-filled choruses.
The powerhouse young musicians appearing on the record (Jim Molyneux: drums, Jamie Brewster: bass, Daniel Brew: guitar, Ben Watte: keys, Rich McVeigh: trombone, Aaron Diaz: trumpet and electronics and Sam Healey: saxophone) wowed the audience with their enviable talent and commitment to groove. With the release of this live album, Glowrogues are primed and ready to light up across the UK.
